Bullying

I will not be surprised if this system doesn't work, but we could all at least give it a try. Unfortunately, bullies will probably still assume the victim has told, and unless the bully is completely removed from the school forever, the bully will resume the bullying. I don't think there are many ways to stop bullying. The only way I think of is to put more cameras up in more places and at more angles so more area can be watched and monitored. Unfortunately, there is always going to be bullying. Try your best to keep your ears open, and maybe try to use the system. Maybe it'll work, maybe it won't. but we can all give it a try.

Haiti

On Tuesday, January 12th, 2010, the city of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti was hit with a 7.0 (out of 10 on the Rictor scale) earthquake. Thousands of people have been killed and/or not found, and millions left homeless since the first earthquake hit. Since Tuesday, multiple violent after shocks have caused even more damage. When I heard that the damage is 100 times greater than that of Katrina, I was floored. Its not even something I can comprehend. I think it's absolutely devastating, and i think that everybody should do something to help. Every penny counts, so if thats all you can give, give it! Students, bring supplies to your Youth groups and schools. Money isn't the only thing to give!

In 10 years...

In 10 years, I will have gotten a degree in either Social Work or Interior Design. I will be engaged and be living by myself in an apartment in either Michigan, Connecticut, or New York City. I will have a thriving carrier, and be able to afford a beautiful wedding. The only pets I will have will be a long-haired kitten. I will drive an environment friendly, low cost, high gas mileage car.
